Part time Employment in the Germany
Students can work upto 20 hours a week during term time and full time during vacations.
Students can earn around 6 – 8 Euro per hour i.e. Approx 500 – 700 euro per week ( Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 50,000).
Students can work full time during vacations.
Students could look out for part-time jobs by looking in the local newspapers and job shops as well as the Universities and Colleges career cells where information is available about vacancies

German language skills are not a prerequisite for starting your studies, as Programs are exclusively taught in English. However, if you are willing to learn German, you also have the opportunity to join the German Language Courses at the University, which are available for free. A good command over German will be an added advantage and will definitely enhance your chance and probability to get the job amongst one of the approx. 600+ German companies in India.
As per new immigration law Since 2002 Germany, a foreign student can receive a study visa. With the student visa, a student can work upto 90 days or 180 half days in one calendar year. After graduation, one has the right to stay in Germany for one year. A job can be searched during this time. A permanent residency permit will be guaranteed only after finding a job.
